Joe Alonso, the head stonemason of the National Cathedral will speak at Potomac Lodge No. 5.  The National Cathedral is the 6th largest cathedral in the world, and possibly the last cathedral to be built in the traditional manner of stonemasonry. Mr. Alonso will address the similarities and connections between his work and our craft. There is a deep and lasting connection between the National Cathedral, Freemasonry, The Grand Lodge of the District, and Potomac Lodge No. 5. President and Brother Theodore Roosevelt helped lay the cornerstone of the Cathedral with the George Washington Gavel. Dinner will begin at 6:30pm and the meeting begins at 7:30pm.
